Postponement can be appropriate
SMP terms allow treatment to be declined, postponed or changed when it is unsafe or unsuitable. An earlier photograph or provisional proposal does not guarantee proceeding on the day. Report changes promptly. Ask what medical information is needed without sharing records through an unnecessarily public channel.
A plan for your circumstances
After assessment, discuss how scalp care and SMP fit together. Do not follow online aftercare that conflicts with prescribed treatment. Ask about reviews and signs requiring help. Acute worsening calls for medical attention before a cosmetic follow-up. Clear preparation matters more than securing the earliest appointment.

Can a consultation replace a diagnosis?
