What does the price list mean?
HM lists SMP Touch-Up at €300–500, exclusively for correctly performed existing SMP. This is different from correcting any previous treatment. Maintenance scope and suitability are assessed first. Explain where and when prior SMP was performed and what has changed. Bring clear, recent photographs to help prepare the consultation.
More is not always better
Substantial remaining pigment means a wish for a darker look does not automatically justify adding more. Discuss colour, distribution, texture and blending with real hair. A practitioner may recommend waiting or seeking other advice. Ask for the reasoning, and do not let a fixed maintenance interval override skin condition.
Clarify new arrangements
Confirm the area, price and aftercare in writing. Maintenance is still a treatment with recovery and booking terms. Existing HM customers can see their agreed 10% discount beside standard prices. The final price within a range follows assessment, rather than selecting the lowest number in the table.

A touch-up of another provider’s work needs assessment first. Original colour, dot size and distribution may limit options. Refreshing is different from correction or removal. Bring clear photographs and treatment information, and ask what a further session is intended to achieve.
Is adding pigment always the answer?
Not necessarily. Fading, a sharp transition, colour and changed hair length are different concerns. More pigment cannot solve every problem. Another approach or assessment may be needed. A maintenance proposal should therefore explain the session’s purpose before a date is arranged.
What we consider in your assessment
Explain what you want maintenance to improve: colour, distribution or a newly visible area. These are different questions. Assessment helps determine whether refining existing SMP or another proposal is appropriate.

Tell us when and where previous SMP was performed and what you want refreshed. A touch-up requires assessment of existing pigment; correction may need a different plan. We review the overall appearance before proposing additional pigmentation.
Next session and healed appearance
Allow at least 14 days between sessions. We usually assess an interval of 2–4 weeks, only with suitable healed skin. Postpone for scabs, open wounds or discharge, marked redness, tenderness or pain, active irritation, suspected infection or active skin disease. Scars and slow healing can require longer. The review 4–6 weeks after the final session assesses results; it is not a fixed next-session date or automatic touch-up. Additional work requires explanation, consent and an agreed price in advance. Exact colour, density, symmetry or an unchanged appearance cannot be guaranteed; pigment remains in the skin and cannot always be removed completely.
